November 18, 2025 — May 16, 2026

It is with profound sadness and a deep sense of loss that we announce the passing of our beloved Maximus Brinton Maroney, who returned to God on May 16, 2026. Born on November 18, 2025, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, Florida, Maximus graced this earth for a brief yet profoundly impactful six months. Though his time with us was short, the joy and love he brought into our lives will be cherished forever. Maximus, affectionately known as "baby boy," was a beacon of happiness and light to everyone who had the privilege of meeting him. His sweet nature and infectious smile could illuminate the darkest of days, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those who loved him. A special gift from God, Maximus was a testament to the beauty of life and the purity of a child's love. We are eternally grateful for the precious moments we shared with him and take comfort in knowing that he is now cradled in the arms of angels. Maximus is preceded in his heavenly journey by his great-grandmothers, Gennie Mae Williams, Dorothy Allen, and Adela Randolph; his grandfather, Vincent Williams; his siblings, Maximillion Maroney Jr., Amillia Maroney, and two angel siblings whose names we never got the chance to bestow. On earth, he leaves behind a vast and loving family, who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts. He is survived by his devoted parents, Brittany Randolph and Maximillion Maroney, whose unwavering love and care defined his days. His sisters My’kialiah, Aleria, Alma, Amariana, and Za’liyah, and brothers Markel, Emmanuel, and Maximillion 3rd, will carry forward his legacy of joy and love. Maximus also leaves behind his great-grandmother Elise, great-grandfathers Eddie Hale and Bill Williams, and three cherished grandmothers, Antionette, Marlene, and Sibyl. His grandfathers, Dwayne, Robert, and "Pop" Yacht, along with a vast extended family of great uncles, aunts, cousins, and more, will continue to celebrate his life and the love he shared. A funeral service to honor Maximus's life will be held on June 18, 2026, at 11:00 AM at New MT Marriah Baptist Church, located at 32852 US-98, Lillian, AL 36549. We invite family and friends to join us in celebrating the life of our precious Maximus, sharing in the joy he brought to our lives, and offering comfort to one another as we navigate this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks for donations to be made in Maximus's memory to a children's charity of your choice, to continue spreading the love and light that he so effortlessly gave to the world. Though our hearts are heavy with sorrow, we find solace in the knowledge that Maximus Brinton Maroney's spirit will forever shine brightly, guiding and watching over us all. Rest in peace, sweet baby boy, until we meet again.
