Born on April 21, 1951, in the vibrant city of New Orleans, Louisiana, Maureen's journey was marked by grace, love, and an unyielding devotion to her family and faith.
Daughter of the late Paul Brenaux and Annette Tilmon, Maureen was a cherished pillar of strength and warmth for all who knew her. Her life was a testament to kindness, quiet strength, and the deep care she extended to those around her. Maureen had an extraordinary ability to make those in her presence feel seen, supported, and truly at home.
Maureen was predeceased by her beloved children Michelle, Michael, Simon, and Paulette Henderson, whose memories she carried in her heart every day. As a devoted grandmother, she found immense joy in the company of her nine grandchildren: Brea, Ayanna, Mikey, Kevia, Destiny, Ellisa, and Sean (Mary) Henderson, each of whom she loved unconditionally. Her legacy continues through her three great-grandchildren, who will grow up knowing the love and wisdom of their great-grandmother through shared stories and cherished memories.
An active and devoted member of the Kingdom Hall, Maureen found solace and community in her faith. She cherished her Bible studies, especially those shared with her grandchildren, where she instilled values of compassion and understanding that will guide them throughout their lives.
Maureen's legacy is one of love and resilience, exemplified by the countless lives she touched with her gentle spirit. Her home was a haven of warmth, where laughter and love were ever-present. Her family and friends will forever remember her loving gaze, her comforting words, and her unwavering support in times of need.
