Matthew was the cherished son of Chris and Becki Lucas and the adored brother of Andrew Lucas. He grew up with the love and support of his family in a nurturing environment, which shaped him into the remarkable young man he became. Matthew graduated from Mortimer Jordan High School, where he was known for his kindness and humor. He had an innate ability to make those around him smile and feel at ease, a gift he shared generously with everyone he met.
