Matthew James Beck

March 3, 1992 — April 13, 2026

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Matthew James Beck, who left this world far too soon on April 13, 2026, at the age of 34. Born on March 3, 1992, in Springfield, Matthew graced the world with his presence, bringing light, laughter, and love to all who knew him. Matthew was a cherished son to Cindy Beck and the late Brent Beck, whose spirits now reunite beyond this earthly realm. He was a devoted brother to Jordan Beck, who, along with his fiancé Taylor Forest, shared countless cherished memories with Matthew. Matthew's life was further enriched by his beloved children, Bloom Leonora and Tommy Wilder Beck, who will forever carry his legacy forward, lovingly nurtured by their mother, Molly Hardin. Matthew was blessed with a large and loving extended family. His great-grandfather, Bill Beck, survives him, a pillar of strength and wisdom. Matthew's life was also shared with his Uncle Kevin and Aunt Robin Beck, Aunt Cheryl Johnson, Aunt Jodie Starks, and Uncle Dave and Aunt Angela Wall, each of whom held a special place in his heart. His cousins Kevin and Tosha, Kayla Saltzman, Serra and Brandon Hart, and Lyndsey Wall will miss his laughter and his infectious zest for life. Matthew was predeceased by several cherished family members, including his father Brent Beck, his grandparent Lucille Beck, his grandparents JB and Sharon Starks, and his Uncle Keith Beck. Their love and guidance were instrumental in shaping him into the remarkable man he became, and their memories will live on through his enduring spirit. A proud graduate of Spokane High School, Matthew was known for his kindness, his dedication, and his unwavering loyalty to friends and family. He possessed a unique ability to light up any room and leave an indelible mark on the hearts of those fortunate enough to know him. The family invites all who knew Matthew to join them in a celebration of his life on April 23, 2026, at 12:00 PM at Green Lawn Cemetery. This gathering will serve as a poignant reminder of a life lived fully and a man deeply loved. In the words of those who knew him best, Matthew was a gentle soul with an adventurous spirit, a devoted father, a beloved son, and a steadfast friend. Though his time with us was brief, the impact of his life will echo in the lives of those he touched. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Matthew's memory to a charity of your choice, honoring his generous heart and desire to help others. Matthew, you are dearly missed, but your spirit will forever remain in our hearts. Until we meet again, may you rest in peace.
