Master Jaron Rothschild

Master Jaron Rothschild, a cherished son, brother, and friend, peacefully departed this world on February 12, 2026, at UMC Hospital, surrounded by the warmth and presence of family and friends. Born on July 10, 1993, in the vibrant city of New Orleans, Louisiana, Jaron lived a life full of love, compassion, and inspiration. Jaron was the beloved son of Joan Rothschild and Larry Edgerson, who carry forward his legacy of kindness and love. He leaves behind his devoted siblings, Terry, Larry, and Imani Rothschild, Larisa, Larchae, Laria Williams, and Taj McKnight. Jaron is also cherished by his grandparents Frances and Claude Bruno, John and Nikki Walker, and Lynda Edgerson. A man of deep faith, Jaron was baptized at an early age under the guidance of Rev. Felman Taylor Jr. at Greater Galilee Missionary Baptist Church in New Orleans. His commitment to his church community was evident through his involvement in the young Deacons Ministry, where he served with unwavering dedication. Jaron was a beacon of hope and a role model for the youth, mentoring and inspiring them with his genuine spirit. Jaron's educational journey took him through Tommy Lafon High School, where he was an enthusiastic member of the gymnastics team. His dream to one day compete in the Olympics was fueled by his love for the outdoors and his joy in the simple pleasure of flipping on a perfectly manicured lawn. Known for his charisma and warmth, Jaron had a rare gift for making everyone feel loved. His parting words were always a heartfelt expression of love, a testament to the deep connections he fostered with all who were fortunate enough to know him. He is predeceased grandparents Carrie and Arthur Rothschild, and his uncles and aunts, Melvin and William Rothschild, Theresa, Debra, Jacquelyn Robinson, and Tiaja Edgerson. The family will like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to everyone for their prayers, thoughts, and words of encouragement during this time. Every kind expression is deeply appreciated and will be cherished forever.
