It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Mason Jones, who left this world much too soon on September 8, 2026. Mason was born on June 10, 2013, and in his short but vibrant life, he touched the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Mason was a cherished son to Mike Jones and Amanda Deandre. He was a source of immense joy and love to his family, who will forever hold his memory dear. Mason is predeceased by his Grandpa Don and Uncle Rob, whom he now joins in eternal peace. A student at Limestone Middle School, Mason was known for his kind spirit and gentle nature. Though he was described as "nice sometimes," those who knew him well understood that his heart was always in the right place, and he had an innate ability to make others smile. Mason's love for fishing was one of his most cherished pastimes. He found solace and happiness in the quiet moments by the water, casting his line and finding adventure in each catch. Mason's untimely passing was the result of a stroke he suffered at school. Though his life was brief, the impact he made will last forever. His family, friends, and all who knew him are left with a void that can never be filled, but also with a multitude of beautiful memories that will be cherished for a lifetime. In honor of Mason's life and the joy he brought into the world, the family kindly requests donations to a charity of your choice, as a way to continue spreading the love and kindness Mason embodied. As we say goodbye, we hold on to the special message from his family: "He loved everyone." Mason's legacy will live on in the hearts of all those who loved him, and in the smiles he brought to those around him. He will be dearly missed, but never forgotten.
