MaryAnn {Laperle} Norberg, a beacon of kindness and love, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2026, with her beloved family by her side. Born on September 9, 1954, in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, MaryAnn graced the world with her warmth and generosity for 71 cherished years. MaryAnn was the cherished daughter of the late Alfred E. Laperle and Belmira {Bento} Laperle. She was predeceased by her brother, Edward Laperle, and her beloved daughter, Krissann Johnson. Despite these profound losses, MaryAnn remained a pillar of strength and compassion to all who knew her. In a life shared with her devoted husband, Scott, MaryAnn celebrated nearly 35 years of marriage. Together, they created a beautiful family, filled with love and cherished memories. She is survived by her sons, Mark and his wife Jennifer, and their children, Robin and Gavin; Daniel, and his children, Alison, Daniel Jr., and Amber; her daughter Sara and her daughter Savanna; and her stepson, Scott Jr. Her sister, Debra, and her husband, Michael Selema, along with their sons, Kevin and Christopher, also mourn her passing. MaryAnn dedicated many years to Nature’s Best Dairy, where she excelled as an office manager and later as the human resource manager. Her colleagues remember her as a dedicated professional who brought both competence and compassion to her work. Beyond her professional life, MaryAnn was a gifted artisan, finding joy in arts and crafts. In her later years, she devoted her time to sewing quilts, which she lovingly crafted for family, friends, and those less fortunate. MaryAnn and Scott loved sitting out on their West Virgina mountain home where she enjoyed feeding the herd of deer that lived in its vast woods Her creations were a testament to her boundless generosity and her desire to spread warmth and comfort. MaryAnn's legacy is one of incredible kindness, an innate ability to see the good in everyone, and a genuine, sweet nature that touched the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her life was a testament to the power of love, compassion, and understanding—a true reflection of her beautiful spirit. A private funeral ceremony will be held to honor MaryAnn’s life, in accordance with her family's wishes. In lieu of flowers, those who wish to honor her memory may do so by continuing her legacy of kindness—whether through acts of generosity or by simply sharing a smile with someone in need. MaryAnn {Laperle} Norberg will forever be remembered for her gentle heart and the love she shared so freely. Her spirit lives on through the lives of those she touched, and her memory will be cherished in the hearts of her family and friends forevermore.
