Mary Zanyi

Mary Zanyi, born on September 28, 1939, was a cherished member of the Seguin, Texas community until her peaceful passing on July 4, 2026. Mary was a loving wife, a faithful friend, and a beacon of kindness and grace to all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her gentle spirit and compassion touched the lives of many, leaving an indelible mark on both family and friends. Mary was happily married to the love of her life, Ray Zanyi, for 34 wonderful years. The couple exchanged vows on August 16, 1986, embarking on a journey filled with love, support, and shared values. Together, Mary and Ray were active parishioners at St. James Catholic Church, where they dedicated much of their time to serving and uplifting their community. Their faith and commitment to each other were inspiring to all who knew them. Mary was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ray, whom she now joins in eternal rest. Together, they built a life filled with laughter, love, and unwavering devotion to their faith and family. Her passing leaves a deep void, but her legacy of love and kindness will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her. A memorial service to honor and celebrate Mary's life will be held on August 17, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church in Seguin, Texas. Family and friends are invited to gather at the church to pay their respects and share in the celebration of a life well-lived. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to St. James Catholic Church in Seguin, Texas, in memory of Mary. Her unwavering faith and dedication to her church community were central to her life, and supporting the church would honor her memory in a meaningful way.
