It is with heavy hearts and profound gratitude for a life well-lived that we announce the passing of Mary Yubeta Robles, who departed this world on June 11, 2026, at the age of 96. Mary was born on October 6, 1929, in the vibrant town of Nogales, Arizona, in Santa Cruz County, to her loving parents, Antonia (Mande) Yubeta and Luis. She was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, and friend whose presence enriched the lives of those fortunate enough to know her. Mary was a beacon of strength and compassion, shaped by her deep-rooted values and the love of her family. She was predeceased by her parents, Antonia and Luis, and her beloved siblings Luis, Frank, Joe, John, Reyes, and Sally. Their memories remained alive in her heart, and their spirits surrounded her throughout her life. On January 28, 1950, Mary married the love of her life, Gilbert L. Robles, in a beautiful ceremony in Tucson. Together, they embarked on a remarkable journey of 76 years, marked by unwavering love and commitment. Their union was blessed with four wonderful children: daughter Terra (Craig), and sons Gilbert (Rosa), Steve (Sandra), and Dick (Dana), who were the pride and joy of her life. Mary's nurturing spirit and boundless love were the foundations upon which her family thrived. Mary's life was a testament to her faith and dedication to her community. She was an active member of St. John's Catholic Church, where she found solace and strength in her faith.
