It is with deep sorrow and profound love for a life well-lived that we announce the passing of Mary Theresa Foster on April 10, 2026. At the age of 84, Mary left this world peacefully, surrounded by the warmth of her beloved family and the cherished memories they shared. Mary Theresa Foster was born on October 17, 1941, in the vibrant city of Montreal. From a young age, she exuded a grace and kindness that touched everyone fortunate enough to know her. Her heart knew no bounds, and her spirit was a beacon of warmth and compassion, particularly for her three children, whom she loved deeply and unconditionally. Mary is Survived by her sister( Cecil DeCloet ) and was predeceased by her beloved husband ( Don Foster ) as well as her dear siblings,( Lucile Cole ) and (John Feher ). Their memories were forever etched in her heart and she spoke of them often with love and fondness. She leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness through her surviving family members, who will continue to cherish her memory. Her son, Allen A Meharg, along with his wife ( Christine ), her daughter Carol A Nichols and her husband( Ed ), and her daughter Jackie French, were the pride and joy of her life. Each of them carry forward her legacy of compassion, strength, and unwavering love. Mary was a proud Grandmother to Six grandchildren, Melissa,Alicia,Allen Jr,Denise, Tasha,Justin and Miranda who brought immense joy and laughter into her life. Her presence will be dearly missed, but the values she instilled in them will continue to guide them. The laughter of her six great-grandchildren echoed the love she had for her family, a love that will undoubtedly be passed down through generations. Those who knew Mary will remember her not only for her warm and caring nature but also for her ability to make everyone feel special and loved. She had an innate ability to listen with genuine interest and provide comfort and support to those in need. Her home was always open, and her heart was always ready to embrace those around her with kindness and understanding. In accordance with her wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held to honor Mary's life. Her family appreciates the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time and invites those who wish to honor her memory to do so by reaching out and helping others, just as Mary did throughout her life. Mary Theresa Foster will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched. Her legacy of love, kindness, and compassion will continue to light the way for her family and friends. Though she may have left this earthly realm, her spirit will always guide and inspire us. May she rest in eternal peace, reunited with her loved ones who have gone before her.
