She is survived by her devoted nephews, Otis McGovern, Douglas McGovern, and Chris McGovern, and her loving niece, Katherine McGovern. To them, Mary was more than an aunt; she was a beacon of strength and serenity, always placing the well-being of her family and friends above her own. A celebration of Mary’s remarkable life will be held on July 21, 2026, at 10:33 AM at the Basilica Shrine of St. Mary. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Mary are invited to gather in remembrance and gratitude for her extraordinary presence.
