Mary Lee Paige

June 2, 1930 — May 1, 2026

With profound sadness and a deep sense of gratitude for a life well-lived, we announce the peaceful passing of Mary Lee Paige, a cherished mother, sister, aunt, and friend. Born on June 2, 1930, in the serene surroundings of Nacogdoches County, Mary departed this world on May 1, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and resilience that will forever be etched in the hearts of those who knew her. Mary was the beloved daughter of A C Roberts and Louisa Roberts, who instilled in her the values of hard work, compassion, and integrity that she carried throughout her life. She was the youngest sister of a large, loving family, which included her sisters Wilma Thomas, Ella Reed, Laurine Christopher, Dora Roberts, Charlise Starling, Oretha Runnels, and her brothers R C Roberts, Keith Saumel, Ozine Roberts, and Ozell Roberts—all of whom predeceased her but whose memories she cherished dearly. Mary shared a beautiful and enduring marriage with her late husband, Mr. Johnnie Page. Together, they built a home filled with warmth, laughter, and unconditional love. Her nurturing spirit and unwavering support were the cornerstones of her family, and she was the proud mother of three children: her daughters, Nedra Page and Debbie Page, who survive her, and her son, Johnny Stanton Page, who preceded her in death and whom she held close in her heart until her final days. Mary was a woman of deep faith and an active member of her community. Her door was always open, her table ever set, welcoming countless friends, relatives, and neighbors who sought her wisdom or simply enjoyed her company. She was a source of strength and inspiration to many, a beacon of light whose generosity and kindness knew no bounds. Her nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of other relatives and friends will remember Mary for her infectious smile, her gentle humor, and her uncanny ability to make everyone feel special and loved. She had a remarkable gift for seeing the good in people and always encouraged those around her to pursue their dreams with passion and purpose. As we gather to celebrate Mary's extraordinary life, we will remember her as a woman who truly embodied love in action. Her legacy will continue through those she touched, and her spirit will forever resonate in the stories we share and the memories we hold dear. A service to honor and commemorate Mary's life will take place on June 3, 2026, at 11:30. We invite all who knew and loved her to join us in remembering a woman who made the world a better place simply by being in it. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Mary's memory to a charity of your choice, continuing her lifelong commitment to helping others. Though our hearts are heavy with sorrow, we find solace in knowing that Mary is now reunited with those she loved, embraced in the arms of the angels. Her light will never dim, and her love will forever guide us. Rest in peace, dear Mary. You are profoundly loved and will be deeply missed.
