Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, on March 25, 1965, Mary was a beacon of kindness and compassion, touching the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Mary was the cherished daughter of the late Raymond Marvin Borne and Joan Helen (Blenke) Borne. She was predeceased by her beloved sister, Mary Kimberly Borne, and her dear grandparents, Stephen and Theresa Borne. Left to cherish her memory is her devoted brother, Kennan Michael Borne, who, like so many others, was continually inspired by her unwavering dedication to family and friends. A proud alumna of Notre Dame High School, class of 1983, Mary pursued her passion for education with determination and grace, earning degrees from Northern Kentucky University in 1998 and the University of South Florida in 2004. Her educational journey was marked by a deep commitment to learning and a desire to make a difference in the lives of young minds. Mary's vocation as an elementary school teacher in the Hillsborough County, Florida, school district was more than a career; it was her calling. Her classroom was a place of warmth and encouragement, where each child was valued, and every lesson was an opportunity for growth and understanding. Her colleagues and students alike remember her for her boundless patience and her ability to light up any room with her smile. Beyond her professional life, Mary was known for her generous spirit and dedication to helping those in need. She was a fervent supporter of BeConcerned Food Pantry, where her altruistic nature found a perfect outlet in service to others. Her contributions to the community will be remembered and cherished by all who benefited from her selfless acts of kindness. While Mary’s path was not without its trials, she faced each challenge with courage and resilience, emerging stronger and more compassionate. Her life was a testament to the power of love, understanding, and the belief that every person has the capacity to make the world a better place.
