Mary Jean Wolfe Walker, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, peacefully departed this world on October 28, 2026, in the comfort of her home, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on May 14, 1966, in Charleston, Mississippi, Mary was the cherished daughter of Jesse Wayne Wolfe and Minnie Hazel Ford (Wolfe). Mary was a shining beacon of warmth and compassion, known for her loving and generous heart. She dedicated her life to her family, providing unwavering support and affection. On November 29, 1987, she married the love of her life, Edward Odell Walker Jr. Their 39-year marriage was a testament to enduring love and companionship, during which they raised two wonderful children, Dekota Walker (Ashton Walker) and Liberty Walker (Andrew Morgan). Mary's family was the center of her world, and she was a devoted grandmother to three grandchildren: Hayden, Ashlyne, and Morgan. Her grandson Koden Jay Sandford predeceased her, and she carried his memory tenderly in her heart. Mary embraced life with enthusiasm and joy, finding happiness in shopping, cooking, and, most importantly, spending time with her family. Her home was always filled with laughter, warmth, and the aroma of her delicious meals, which brought everyone together. Though she has left this earthly realm, Mary’s spirit continues to live on in the hearts of those who knew her. Her legacy of love and kindness will be cherished forever. In accordance with her wishes, a private ceremony will be held to honor her life.
