Mary Jane was the beloved wife of Gordon Russel Evans, with whom she shared a life rich in love and companionship. Together, they nurtured a family that became her greatest pride and joy. Her legacy is carried on by her surviving family members and countless friends who were touched by her kindness and humor. A devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Mary Jane’s faith was a cornerstone of her life. Her belief in her Savior provided her with strength and comfort and was a guiding light that she shared with those around her. Her commitment to her faith was mirrored in her deep love for her family, which was the center of her world. Mary Jane cherished every moment spent with her children and grandchildren, each visit a source of immense joy and laughter. Though predeceased by her children Shelly, Michael, Kristen, and Matt Evans, and grandchildren Marne Weidner, Megan Howe, Seth Evans, Kirah Evans, Ashley Kramer, Desiree Evans, Tyler Evans, Emily Evans, and Dillenger Evans, she leaves behind a legacy of love through her 12 great-grandchildren. Her family was her pride, and she reveled in their achievements and joys. Known for her infectious humor and a spirit that radiated happiness, Mary Jane had a unique gift for making those around her smile. Her ability to find joy in everyday moments was a testament to her optimistic outlook on life. Yet, she balanced her laughter with a realistic view of the world, a blend of optimism and pragmatism that those who knew her admired deeply. Due to her private nature, Mary Jane's family has chosen to honor her life with a private funeral ceremony. This intimate gathering will allow them to reflect on the many cherished memories and the indelible impact she had on their lives. In a special message from her family, they express, "She loved the world and her Lord and Savior. She will be forever missed and we look forward to the day when we can be together again as a family."
