It is with a mixture of sorrow and celebration that we announce the passing of Mary Ellen, who left us peacefully in her sleep on September 14, 2026. Born on February 8, 1952, in the sun-kissed landscapes of Arizona, Mary brought warmth and kindness into the hearts of everyone she encountered throughout her rich and fulfilling life. Mary was the beloved daughter of Dan and Marie Billinghurst, whose nurturing love and guidance shaped her compassionate spirit. She is now reunited with them, as well as her dear sister Vicki and brother Butch, in eternal peace. A devoted mother, Mary’s legacy lives on through her three wonderful children: Shannon, Sean, and Stephen. Each of them carries forward her values of kindness, integrity, and resilience. The joy of Mary’s life was exponentially multiplied by her 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, who brought her immeasurable happiness and pride. Her family was her world, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Mary's life was a testament to her unwavering dedication to her family and community. Her presence was a comforting constant, her laughter a source of joy, and her wisdom a guiding light. She touched the lives of many with her generosity and her unwavering commitment to those she loved.
