November 13, 1961 — September 6, 2026

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Coyle, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, who left this world on September 6, 2026. Born on November 13, 1961, in Modesto, California, Mary was the cherished daughter of Grace and Homer Poe. She was a beacon of love and strength to all who knew her. Mary's life was a testament to the power of family and unconditional love. She graduated from Beyer High School in 1979, and from there, she dedicated her life to nurturing those around her. As a homemaker, she lovingly cared for her siblings, Carol Zumwalt, and her predeceased brothers Lonnie and Lloyd, and sister Marsha. Her nurturing spirit extended to her cherished nieces and nephews, her children, Jeremy McCuistion and Michelle Degraffenried, and her treasured grandchildren, Winter Lawson, Sapphire Montgomery, and Connor Lawson. Married to the love of her life, Donnie Ray Coyle, for 29 beautiful years, Mary and Donnie shared a life filled with love, laughter, and countless memories. Together, they raised their children and grandchildren, creating a home that was a sanctuary of warmth and joy. Mary's love knew no bounds, reaching out to her five great-grandchildren, Vincent, Justin Jr., Connor Jr., Jack, and Aroura, who brought her immense pride and happiness. Her home was a gathering place, a garden of love where family came together to celebrate life's moments, big and small. Beyond her family, Mary found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She was an avid gardener, tending to her plants with the same care she gave to her loved ones. Music was a constant companion, providing a soundtrack to her days filled with family and laughter. Her compassionate heart and encouraging spirit left a lasting impact on everyone she met. A service to celebrate Mary's life will be held on October 10, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Davis Park Church of Christ, located at 901 W Rumble Rd. The family invites all who knew her to join in honoring her memory and celebrating the beautiful life she led. In remembrance of Mary, the family kindly suggests donations be made in her honor to a charity of your choice, reflecting the love and generosity she embodied throughout her life. Mary's family shares this special message: "Our grandmother was the heart of our family and carried so much with her throughout her life. We hope she is well and now resting in the arms of our heavenly Father." Mary Coyle's legacy of love, strength, and devotion will forever remain in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered, as her spirit continues to inspire and guide her family.
