Mary is survived by her devoted son, Pete, her caring son, Carl, and her treasured grandson, Matthew, who brought immense joy to her life. Mary shared her life's journey with her late husband, Salvador Figueroa, and had the pleasure of companionship with Oscar Martinez. Their shared laughter and adventures were a testament to the love and companionship they experienced together. A dedicated professional, Mary worked for the state, where her diligence and compassion left a lasting impact on her colleagues and the community she served. She was a beacon of strength and kindness, always ready to lend a helping hand or a listening ear. Mary's educational pursuits were marked by a love for learning, which she shared generously with those around her. A service to celebrate Mary's life will be held on April 12, 2026, at 6:00 PM at the Seed of Life Christian Center, located at 21514 Division St, Lockport, IL 6044. During the service, the cherished words of The 23rd Psalm will be read, offering solace and reflection on a life well-lived. In this time of sorrow, Mary's family extends their heartfelt gratitude for the kindness, prayers, and support shown by friends and loved ones. Your comforting presence and love have been a source of strength and peace as we remember and honor Mary. Mary C.
