Mary Ann was the treasured daughter of Robert Patrick Traphagan and Phyllis Pauline Traphagan, who instilled in her a strong work ethic and a love for family. She was also the dear sister to Tracy, with whom she shared countless memories and an unbreakable bond, and the loving mother to her son Kevin, who was the light of her life. From a young age, Mary Ann was drawn to the beauty and tranquility of the outdoors. Her hobbies included fishing, horseback riding, and gardening—pursuits that allowed her to connect with nature and find peace. She had a remarkable talent for flower arranging, and her colorful creations brought joy to many. Mary Ann also had a keen eye for detail and an affinity for sewing and stitchery, which she often used to craft beautiful handmade gifts for her loved ones. Mary Ann was a skilled entrepreneur who owned and operated her own Painting and Drywall company. Her meticulous nature and commitment to excellence earned her a sterling reputation in her community. She built her business on the foundation of client referrals, a testament to her dedication and the high quality of her work. Her clients knew her as someone who would go above and beyond to ensure every project was completed to perfection. Throughout her life, Mary Ann remained grounded by the values her parents instilled in her. She was predeceased by her beloved parents, Robert and Phyllis Traphagan, as well as her brothers Patrick and Michael, whom she missed dearly. In her passing, she leaves behind her son Kevin, her sister Tracy, and a legacy of love, strength, and kindness. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the Denver Health OASIS team, BrightOn Hospice, Opta Health, and Stacey Smith for the compassionate care they provided to Mary Ann during her final days.
