It is with heavy hearts and profound admiration that we celebrate the life of Mary Ann Moore, a devoted matriarch and cherished member of her community, who passed away peacefully on April 25, 2026, at the age of 76. Mary Ann was born on October 2, 1949, in Ellenwood, Georgia, to the loving parents Ren and Jesse George. From her earliest days, Mary Ann embodied a spirit of kindness and compassion that would touch countless lives. Mary Ann's life was one of dedication and love, both to her family and to the many individuals she served throughout her career. After attending Carver High School, she devoted her professional life to providing in-home patient care services, where her gentle touch and caring nature brought comfort to those in need. Her work was not just a job but a calling, and she brought her nurturing spirit to every person she met. A faithful member of the Liberty Ministries Family Worship for many years, Mary Ann served with grace and humility. Her involvement with the Mother Board and later as a Saint of Grace exemplified her unwavering commitment to her faith and her community. Her presence was a source of inspiration, and her contributions left an indelible mark on the congregation. Mary Ann's life was filled with simple joys and abundant love. She adored caring for and spoiling those around her, always putting others before herself. Her home was a haven of warmth and laughter, often filled with the sounds of her favorite shows like Good Times, Martin, and Sanford and Son. Mary Ann had a gift for making others feel special, her laughter a balm that soothed the soul. She was predeceased by her beloved son, Keith George, and her siblings Helen, Pauline, Tat, Betty, and Edlee, who she has now joined in eternal rest. Mary Ann leaves to cherish her memory two devoted sisters, Essie May George and Dot, who stood by her side through life's journey. Her legacy continues through her beloved grandchildren, Shaiketa George, Kayla Stroud, Ruby Stroud, Keshunn Stroud, Keyunna George, and Ryan George, as well as her cherished great-grandchildren, Sean Dillard, Shounta Robinson, Montavious Robinson, Karmoni King, Ava, P.J., and Denzel. Her extended family of nieces, nephews, and cousins will forever hold her in their hearts, each one touched by her love and kindness. A service to honor Mary Ann's life will be held on May 8, 2026, at 12:00 PM at Liberty Ministries Family Worship, located at 654 Main St, Forest Park, GA 30297. It will be a time to celebrate the life of a remarkable woman who gave so much of herself to others. Mary Ann Moore's legacy is one of love, warmth, and unwavering devotion. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her. As we say goodbye, we find comfort in knowing that her spirit will continue to guide and inspire us.
