It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Marty Jay Estes, a beloved son, father, brother, and friend. Marty, known affectionately as Jay, passed away on April 14, 2026, at the age of 38. He was born on March 15, 1988, in Texarkana, Texas, a place he held dear throughout his life.
From an early age, Jay radiated a warmth and kindness that touched everyone fortunate enough to know him. His generous spirit was matched only by his remarkable sense of humor, which could bring laughter to even the darkest of days. Jay had an innate ability to connect with people, and he cherished the moments spent helping others. His absence leaves a void that will be felt deeply by all who loved him.
Jay's legacy of love and laughter lives on through his cherished family. He is survived by his mother, Denise Nichols of Texarkana, TX, and his father Marty Estes and stepmother Diane of Acworth, GA. His grandmother, Dana Beamon of Austin, TX, Jay’s two sons, Eli and Kingson, who will forever carry forward their father’s spirit.
He is further survived by his sister, Kayla, and her husband Jon Marentette of Marietta, GA His aunts, Dana Crank of Texarkana, TX, Melissa and Muret Mese of LA, Michele and Jeff Talley of LA, along with his six first cousins—John and Fallon Scoggins of Ogden, AR Trey and Kaitlyn Crank of Texarkana, AR, Miranda and Bradley Finn of Copeland, TX, Ashley Estes of Little Rock, AR, Jake Railsback, and Phillip Azar of Atlanta, TX and his God parent Candi Robinett of Texarkana TX.
A service to honor and celebrate Jay’s life will be held on May 2, 2026, at 2:00 PM. The service will take place at the Memorial of Marty Jay Estes, located at 4848 E St, Texarkana, AR 71854. Friends and family are invited to gather to reminisce, share stories, and find solace in the memories of his life.
Jay’s parents, along with the entire family, extend their heartfelt gratitude for the outpouring of prayers and condolences during this difficult time. Your support is a testament to the impact Jay had on everyone around him.
Though Jay has departed from this world, his memory will forever be imprinted in the hearts of those who loved him. May his soul find eternal peace, and may his spirit continue to inspire acts of kindness and joy in our lives.
