In loving memory, we celebrate the life of Martin Wynne, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, who passed away peacefully on May 21, 2026, at the age of 62. Born on February 2, 1964, in Omaha, Nebraska, Martin graced the world with his presence, leaving an indelible mark of love and wisdom upon all who had the privilege of knowing him.
The son of Levell and Essie Wynne, Martin was raised in a home filled with love and strong family values. He was preceded in death by his loving parents and his brother, Michael Wynne of Arkansas, whom he missed dearly.
Martin's journey through life was marked by his remarkable wisdom and knowledge, always shared with a quiet humility that endeared him to many. His calm, cool, and collected demeanor made him the steady anchor of his family—a constant source of strength and reassurance. He lived a life characterized by agape love, offering selfless and unconditional care to everyone around him. His love was a beacon of light that guided many through both joyful and challenging times.
His legacy lives on through his devoted wife, Shari Wynne, and his beloved children: daughters Marticha Hubbard, Martinique Hubbard, Sabriah Wynne, and Martina Wynne; sons Martin Hubbard, Brent Hubbard, and Martaloni Wynne. Martin's family was his pride and joy, and his love for them was immeasurable.
He is also survived by his brothers, Dennis, Kelvin, and Marvin Wynne, and his sisters, Sandra, Darlene, Beverly Wynne, and Karen Wynne of Richardson, Texas. Martin's family extended beyond his immediate relatives, as he cherished his role as a grandfather to 14 grandchildren and a great-grandfather to 2 great-grandchildren. His nurturing spirit and boundless love have left a lasting imprint on their lives.
The family invites all who knew Martin to join them in celebrating his life on June 5, 2026, at Good Shepherd Funeral & Cremation Services, located at 3809 N 90th St, Omaha, NE 68134. This gathering will honor the legacy of a remarkable man whose life was a testament to love, strength, and humility.
As the family reflects on Martin's life, they express their deepest gratitude for the outpouring of love, prayers, calls, visits, and support they have received during this difficult time. The kindness and compassion shown by friends and family have been a source of immense comfort and strength.
"May God continue to bless each of you for the comfort and strength you have shared with our family."
