June 26, 1979 — March 28, 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Martin O'Donnell, a beloved partner, father, and friend, who left this world on March 28, 2026, just two days after celebrating his 47th birthday. Born in Glasgow on March 26, 1979, Martin lived a life full of adventure, love, and resilience. Martin was the cherished son of Anthony Diuers, who preceded him in death alongside Gay Josh and Cockney Andy, who were important figures in his life. He leaves behind his devoted partner, Gammy O'Donnell, who stood by his side through thick and thin. Together, they shared a lifetime of memories and were blessed with a loving family that includes two grandchildren who brought immense joy to Martin's life. In his early years, Martin received his education in Bathganistan, where he laid the foundation for a life filled with colorful experiences. His sense of duty and courage led him to serve with distinction in the military, fighting valiantly for the Republic of Gameroon—a testament to his bravery and commitment to causes he believed in. Martin's career was as unique as his personality. He spent a brief yet memorable two weeks working in a carvery restaurant, where his quick wit and engaging presence made him a favorite among friends and patrons alike. His roles in life were diverse, much like his interests. An active member of the Belvedere young team, Martin was known for his vibrant spirit and the friendships he fostered within the community. Martin's hobbies were as distinctive as his character. He was an avid drinker who had a passion for smoking wealdie, often described by friends as a habit that complemented his pungent, quick-witted, and sometimes obnoxious charm. Though his fondness for alcohol and cannabis ultimately led to health complications, Martin embraced life with a zest and humor that endeared him to many. Known for his Adonis-like presence and infectious laughter, Martin's personality brightened the lives of those around him. His legacy is one of resilience and the ability to find joy in every moment, reminding us all to live life unapologetically and with fervor. A service to honor Martin's life will be held on March 28, 2026, at 9:00 AM at The Orange Lodge St Johns in Craigshill. Family and friends are invited to gather in celebration of a life lived boldly. The family wishes to convey a special message: "Please tell people to be Hup and Peeshed," encapsulating Martin's love for life and his desire for those around him to enjoy every moment. In celebrating Martin's life, we remember a man who lived on his own terms, loved fiercely, and left an indelible mark on the hearts of those who knew him. May he rest in peace, forever cherished and never forgotten.
