Martin Barbosa

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Martin Barbosa, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and friend, who left this world on September 23, 2026. Martin was born on October 8, 1953, in La Mina Mercurio, Zacatecas, Mexico, and went on to touch the lives of many with his kindness and generosity. Martin was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Guadalupe Barbosa, and a nurturing father to his children, Martin Barbosa Jr. and Luz Barbosa. He was also a loving grandfather to his five adored grandchildren, Jaylee Paredes, Sienna Barbosa, Layla Lopez, Adalyn Lopez, and Luca Lopez. Though he is no longer with us, his spirit lives on through each of them. A dedicated and hardworking man, Martin devoted 45 years of his life to Red River Construction, where he was admired for his dedication and work ethic. Outside of his career, he was a pillar of his community, serving as an active member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church for over 50 years. His faith was a guiding force in his life, and he was known for his unwavering commitment to those around him. In his leisure time, Martin found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He loved feeding the squirrels, taking long, reflective walks, and most of all, spending cherished moments with his grandchildren. His home was always a place of warmth and laughter, filled with the echoes of playful banter and stories shared among family. Martin's life was a testament to the power of kindness and generosity. He had a unique ability to make those around him feel seen and valued, and his legacy of compassion and love will continue to inspire all who knew him. A service to honor Martin's life will be held on September 25, 2026, at the Allen Funeral Center, located at 508 Masters Ave. The family kindly expresses their gratitude to everyone who has offered their support and condolences during this difficult time. Martin Barbosa will be deeply missed, but his memory will forever remain in our hearts. May he rest in peace.
