It is with heavy hearts and profound love that we announce the passing of Martha Lynne Johnson, who departed this world on October 15, 2026, after a courageous battle with an illness. Born on October 27, 1976, in Hazard, Kentucky, Martha was a beacon of Love and compassion in the lives of all who knew her. Martha was the beloved daughter of the late James Walter Flannery and Beatrice Flannery, who instilled in her the values of kindness and resilience. She was a devoted mother to her children, Brandon Flannery and his partner Madi, Brianna Rojero, and Destiny Johnson. Her nurturing spirit extended to her cherished grandchildren, who brought immense joy to her life. She is also survived by her siblings, brother Mike Flannery and his wife Deloris, sister Pamela Hunter and her husband Mike, and sisters Theresa Pence and Audrey Flannery Troyer. Martha's life was also enriched by a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends who will remember her warmth and generosity. Martha's greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends, creating memories filled with laughter and love. Her home was a sanctuary of warmth, where she welcomed everyone with open arms and an open heart. Her legacy of love and compassion will continue to inspire those she leaves behind. In accordance with Martha's wishes, a private Celebration of Life will be held to honor her life, surrounded by those she held closest to her heart. Martha Lynne Johnson will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
