Martha Jean Janetski

In loving memory of Martha Jean Janetski, who passed away on August 12, 2026, surrounded by her cherished family. Born on February 21, 1965, in Warren, Ohio, Martha's life was a testament to love, creativity, and dedication. Martha was the beloved daughter of the late James and JoAnn Janetski, and she was predeceased by her dear nephew, Tyler Campbell. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth and generosity that will be dearly missed by her siblings: Dusty Campbell (Lauri), Wayne Campbell (Christy), James Modie (Rose), Jodi Janetski (Karen), and Michelle Janetski. Her memory will also be cherished by her nephews, Zachary, Jordan, Ryan, and Alex, and Nieces, Dannielle, Mary, Jennifer, Monique, Frankie and Taylor. Martha is further survived by her loving Aunts, Barbara and Linda Janetski. Among the many people who touched her life, Jessica, Megan, Wanda and Emma were especially dear to her. She cherished the unique relationships they shared and the countless memories they made together. A graduate of Martins Ferry High School, Class of 1983, Martha's passion for beauty and design led her to a fulfilling career at Levitz Furniture. As a decorator and buyer for over two decades, she had an impeccable eye for detail and a unique talent for transforming spaces into welcoming havens. Her colleagues and clients alike admired her artistic flair and dedication to her craft. Martha was known for her quick wit, infectious laughter, and a heart that embraced everyone she met. Her family was the center of her universe, and she took immense pride in nurturing and supporting her loved ones. Her home was always open, a place where warmth and kindness flourished, and where everyone felt like family. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the Riverside Methodist Hospital SICU team for the exceptional care and compassion they provided Martha during her final days. Their dedication and kindness will always be remembered. In honor of Martha's generous spirit and love for community, the family kindly requests that any memorial contributions be made in her name to the Epilepsy Foundation or the Franklin County Humane Society. Martha Jean Janetski will forever be remembered for her boundless love of family, her remarkable ability to make any space feel like home, and the joy she brought into the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know her. Though her presence will be deeply missed, her spirit will continue to inspire and warm the hearts of those she left behind. A service will be held at the Bishops Chapel at Mount Calvery Cemetery 1685 National Rd Wheeling, WV 26003 on October 24, 2026, at 10:30am.
