In Loving Memory

Marshall Ivory
April 23, 1969 — April 17, 2026
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Marshall Ivory, who left this world peacefully at his home on April 17, 2026, just shy of his 57th birthday. Born on April 23, 1969, in St. Louis, Missouri, Marshall was a beacon of warmth and humor, known for his quick wit, warm smile, and the ability to find humor in any situation. He was the kind of person who could light up a room with his laughter and make everyone feel like they belonged, a true testament to his generous and kind spirit.
Marshall was the cherished son of Kay Ivory, who along with his brother, Preston Ivory, and a host of loving uncles, nieces, and nephews, are left to treasure his memory. He was predeceased by his beloved Pops and Granny, whose memories he always held close to his heart.
A proud graduate of Hastings High School, Marshall carried the lessons and friendships he forged there throughout his life. He was the kind of friend who was always ready with a joke to lighten the mood and the kind of person whose kindness and generosity touched countless lives. To know Marshall was to know laughter and warmth; he had a gift for making everyone feel welcome and valued.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Memorial Hospital for their compassionate care during Marshall's final days. Their kindness will always be remembered. In the words of his family, "Forever in our hearts."
Friends and family are invited to celebrate Marshall's life at a service to be held on April 26, 2026, at 4:00 PM at the Lounge, located at 2345 Hugs Street. It will be a time to remember the joy, laughter, and love that Marshall brought into the world.
Though Marshall is no longer with us, the light he brought into our lives will never fade. As we gather to honor his memory, we remember a man whose life was marked by laughter, kindness, and love. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of those he touched.
