Marsha Kay Palmer, a beloved matriarch, dedicated educator, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on July 13, 2026, at the age of 81. Born on December 6, 1944, in the serene town of Twin Falls, Idaho, Marsha was the cherished daughter of Lloyd and Zola Palmer. She was preceded in death by her loving parents, her devoted husband John A. Seable, and her cherished daughter Kimberly Meyers.
Marsha’s journey of love and commitment began when she married her best friend, John A. Seable, in the Logan Utah Temple in September 1967. Their union, blessed for time and all eternity, became the foundation of a family she adored and nurtured with unwavering devotion. Together, they raised four children—Kimberly Myers,John Seable, Crystal Nykreim, and Aaron Seable—who brought immense joy to her life.
A proud alumna of Franklin High School, Marsha graduated in 1963, continuing her education at Brigham Young University, from which she graduated in 1967. Soon after, she embarked on a fulfilling career with the Caldwell School District, where she served in various capacities for about 25 years. Her dedication to education touched countless lives, leaving a lasting legacy of knowledge and kindness.
Marsha’s life was a testament to the power of love, nurturing not only her children but also her 17 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Her family tree, rooted deeply in love and support, extended to her elder siblings, Dave Palmer and Linda Willoughby, and embraced special loved ones like Mike and Malinda Karpowitz and Chad and Michelle Everton.
Her heart, full of compassion and warmth, was felt by everyone who had the privilege to know her. Her kindness, gentle spirit, and unwavering faith were guiding lights to her family and friends.
Despite the challenges of a heart condition she recently developed, Marsha faced life’s trials with grace and resilience. She leaves behind a family that will carry forward her legacy of love and service, inspired by her strength and unwavering faith.
