Marsha Griffis

July 6, 1960 — February 14, 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Marsha Griffis, who departed this world on February 14, 2026, at her home, surrounded by the love of her family after a long and courageous battle with COPD and Alfa One. She was 65 years old. Born on July 6, 1960, in Denver, Colorado, Marsha was a beacon of kindness and resilience, whose life was a testament to the strength of the human spirit. Marsha is survived by her beloved sister, Linda Sanchez; her cherished niece, April Martinez, and her husband, Phil; her dear nephews, Jason, with his wife Heather, and Kenny. She also leaves behind many great nieces and nephews and several great great nephews, all of whom brought her immense joy and pride. Throughout her life, Marsha was known for her unwavering generosity and compassion. She dedicated her time and energy to family, friends, and the community, always offering a listening ear and a helping hand. Her warmth and empathy touched countless lives, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Bloom Hospice for their compassionate care during Marsha's final days. Special thanks are also extended to Ellen, Marsha's devoted infusion nurse for 20 years, who Marsha truly loved and considered a part of her family. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Alfa One Anti Disease, an organization close to Marsha's heart, in her memory. This gesture would honor her legacy and support the cause she held dear. As we gather to remember Marsha, let us celebrate the profound impact she had on our lives and carry forward her legacy of love, strength, and kindness. Though she is no longer with us in body, her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her. A private celebration of life will be held in her honor. May we all find comfort in our treasured memories of Marsha, and may her gentle soul rest in peace.
