It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Marrion Lee Hice, who went to meet the Lord on July 5, 2026, at the age of 60. Born on April 7, 1966, in Osceola, Arkansas, to Marion Lester Hice and Carlene Lou Bunch Hice, Marrion was a cherished son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Marrion grew up in a close-knit family and was blessed with the love and guidance of his parents and siblings. He graduated from Conway Public Schools in 1995, earning his GED, and also served his country with pride in the United States Army Reserve from 1984 to 1992. His time in the service instilled in him a sense of duty and camaraderie that he carried with him throughout his life. On May 1, 1986, Marrion married the love of his life, Tina Angelique Ausbrooks. Together, they built a beautiful life and raised three wonderful children: Robin, Erica, and Daniel Hice. Marrion was a devoted father who imparted his values of hard work, kindness, and integrity to his children. A skilled craftsman, Marrion owned and operated a successful drywall business until his retirement in 2008. His work ethic was unmatched, and he took great pride in his ability to create and build. Marrion's talents extended beyond his profession; he was an accomplished artist who won awards for his artwork during his school years. He also enjoyed woodburning as a hobby. Marrion found joy in the simple pleasures of life. An avid fisherman and hunter, he cherished his time in nature. His love for gardening was evident in the bountiful and colorful gardens he tended with care. Marrion was a man of the Pentecostal faith, and his belief in giving back was reflected in his generosity and willingness to help those in need. Family was at the heart of Marrion's life. He was a beloved grandfather to Ana-Olivia Salgado,Kugar, Ava, Morgan, Gabby, Annella, Ryleigh, Bradley, and Emma Hice, who will forever hold the memory of their grandfather's laughter and warmth close to their hearts. Marrion's infectious sense of humor and ability to bring people together made gatherings with his family and friends moments of laughter and love. Marrion was predeceased by his father, Marion Lester Hice, and his brother, Wayne Earl Hice. He leaves behind his devoted wife, Tina, his adoring children Robin, Erica (Bobby Creekmore), and Daniel (Zella Gower) , his mother, Carlene (John Bonee), his loving sisters Carla Eddy (Bobby Starr), Frances, and Glenda Hice (Jerry Flick), and a large extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends who will all miss him dearly.
