Marria Bonner, a beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister, passed away peacefully on October 23, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was surrounded by the love and warmth of her family during her final moments. Born on June 8, 1978, in Jacksonville, Florida, Marria was the cherished daughter of Tommy Bonner and Lisa Blackwell. She grew up with a deep appreciation for the simple joys in life, which she carried with her throughout her years. Marria was known far and wide for her quick wit and warm smile, attributes that endeared her to everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Despite being soft-spoken, her presence was always felt, and her kindness left a lasting impact on those around her. Marria's greatest joy came from spending time with her friends and family, who meant the world to her. She is survived by her loving daughter, Monica Stewart, who was a source of immense pride and joy for Marria. She also leaves behind her dear brother, Derrie Bonner, and her three treasured grandchildren, Hensley Sharp, Gavin Sharp, and Lesley Sharp. Marria's legacy of love and laughter will continue to live on through them. A private funeral ceremony will be held to honor Marria's life, in accordance with her family's wishes. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, in memory of Marria Bonner.
