It is with heavy hearts yet deep gratitude for a life well lived that we announce the passing of Marquitt Boyzer, who left this world on October 9, 2025, after a battle with Drugs. Born on September 2, 1977, in Houston, Texas, Marquitt graced this world with her presence for 48 years, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and resilience that will continue to inspire all who knew her. Marquitt was the beloved daughter of the late Kathy and Tyler Boyzer, who preceded her in death, and was the cherished sister to Tasha, Kesha, and Buffy Boyzer. Her family was her world, and she embraced her role as a mother with unparalleled devotion and pride. Marquitt is survived by her three sons, Dre Frazier age 23, Edward Simmons, age 18, Edmond Simmons age 17, who were the lights of her life. Known for her infectious smile that could brighten even the darkest of days, Marquitt's warmth and joy were felt by all who had the pleasure of being in her company. She effortlessly became the life of any party, bringing people together with her vibrant spirit and genuine love for those around her. Her home was always open and welcoming, a place where friends and family gathered to create lasting memories. Marquitt's journey through life was marked by her incredible strength and resilience. Despite the challenges she faced, she remained a beacon of positivity and love. Her dedication to her family was unwavering, and she found immense joy in spending time with her sons. Though she is no longer with us, Marquitt's spirit lives on in the hearts of her surviving family, including her sons Edward Simmons, Edmond Simmons, and Dre Frazier as well as her deeply loved cousins Ron Smith, Bailey Jackson, Byron Jackson, and Reginald Smith. Her absence leaves a void that can never be filled, yet her memory will forever be a source of comfort and inspiration. A private funeral service will be held to honor and celebrate Marquitt's remarkable life on October 16, 2025. As we come together in remembrance, we hold tightly to the love and laughter she shared with us, grateful for the time we were blessed to have with her. Marquitt Boyzer's legacy is one of love, resilience, and joy. Though her physical presence is no longer with us, her spirit will forever illuminate our lives, reminding us to cherish every moment and to spread kindness and love, just as she did.
