Marquis was born on September 16, 1994, in Silver Spring, Maryland, to Marcus Jones and Marie Humphrey. Throughout his life, Marquis touched the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. His presence brought love, laughter, and lasting memories that will remain in our hearts forever. Marquis was a loving, caring, and kind-hearted individual who cherished his family deeply. As a devoted father, he guided, supported, and unconditionally loved his two cherished children, Marquis Jr. and Bria. The special bond they shared will forever be a testament to the wonderful father he was. Marquis's warm spirit and generous heart extended beyond his immediate family, creating a ripple of love and kindness that touched many. He leaves behind his parents, Marcus and Marie, and his siblings, Rashard, Kevin, Derek, Key, Shanessa, and Winnie, all of whom carry forward his legacy of love and loyalty. Marquis was a beloved brother whose presence in their lives brought immeasurable joy and comfort. His memory will continue to live on through them and through the many lives he enriched. A private funeral service will be held on August 1, 2026, at 10:00 AM to honor and celebrate Marquis's life. The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to all who have supported them during this difficult time. They extend their deepest thanks to the funeral home, family, friends, and everyone who offered prayers, comfort, kindness, and support as they laid Marquis to rest.
