Marlane Soldner

January 25, 1955 — April 19, 2026

With heavy hearts but profound gratitude for her life, we announce the passing of Marlane Soldner, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, who departed this world peacefully at her home on April 19, 2026, after a valiant battle with cancer. She was 71 years old. Marlane was born on January 25, 1955, in Columbia, Tennessee, to Phillip and Delores Meissner. From a young age, she exhibited a nurturing spirit that would guide her throughout her life. Her journey as a caregiver began when she graduated as a Licensed Practical Nurse before leaving her beloved Tennessee. Her compassion and dedication found a home in the medical field, where she touched countless lives at Murray County Hospital and later at Baptist Medical Center after moving to Florida in 1981. However, it was at River Garden Senior Home that Marlane found her true calling, providing care with a warmth that left a lasting impact on everyone she encountered. In 1981, Marlane and her cherished husband, Robert Soldner, embarked on a new chapter in Florida, where they started their own business and built a life filled with love and joy. Together, they raised two wonderful children, Katelyn and Cody, instilling in them the values of kindness, resilience, and compassion. Marlane devoted herself to homeschooling Katelyn and Cody, nurturing their growth and education with patience and love. Marlane's love for her family was boundless. Her four grandsons, Knox, Nolan, Nash, and Noble Bryant, were the lights of her life. She cherished every moment spent with them, creating memories filled with laughter and love. Her home was always open to them, where they found a haven of warmth and delicious homemade treats. Her muffins and cookies were legendary, made with the same love she poured into every aspect of her life. Beyond her family, Marlane had a deep affection for nature. Her garden was a testament to her green thumb and her love for all living things. Whether she was tending to her plants, admiring the birds, or caring for her beloved puppies, Marlane found joy in the simple beauty of the world around her. Marlane was predeceased by her parents, Phillip and Delores Meissner, and her grandparents, Josie and Hobert Childress. She leaves behind her devoted husband of 43 years, Robert Soldner; her daughter, Katelyn Bryant, and her husband, Danny; her son, Cody Soldner; and her cherished grandsons, Knox, Nolan, Nash, and Noble Bryant. Her legacy of love and kindness lives on in each of them. Marlane's strength, independence, and unwavering beliefs were as much a part of her as her generosity and kindness. She touched many lives with her gentle spirit and left an indelible mark on everyone who knew her. Her memory will forever be a guiding light to those she leaves behind. As we bid farewell to our beloved Marlane, we take comfort in knowing that she is at peace and reunited with her parents and grandparents. A private family service will be held to honor her memory, and details of a celebration of life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Marlane's memory to a cancer charity of your choice, as a tribute to her courageous fight. Rest in peace, dear Marlane. You will forever remain in our hearts.
