Mark Gaylon Williams, a beloved father, brother, and friend, passed away on September 1, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, service, and dedication. Born on August 14, 1961, at Egland AFB in Alexandria, LA, Mark lived a life enriched by his commitment to family, country, and community. Mark was predeceased by his loving parents, Junious and Betty McNeil, whose values and principles he carried forward throughout his life. He is survived by his devoted siblings, Michael W. Williams and Beverly M. Williams-Rackley, and his cherished son, Myles Taylor, who will continue to honor his father's memory. Mark served in the U.S. Air Force with distinction from 1983 to 1992, achieving the rank of Sergeant. His military career took him across the globe, with postings in Germany, South Korea, Wyoming, and Las Vegas, Nevada. During his service, Mark earned numerous medals of commendation and achievement, reflecting his dedication and excellence. His military service was a testament to his discipline, courage, and unwavering commitment to his country. A service to celebrate Mark's life will be held on September 19, 2026, at Berry & Gardener Funeral Home, located at 1300 34th Ave., Meridian, MS, 39301. Family and friends will gather to honor his life and share in the joy of the memories he leaves behind. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice, reflecting the spirit of generosity and compassion that Mark embodied throughout his life.
