It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mark Dennis Stephens, known to many as Cliff, who left this life on April 3, 2026, at the age of 63. He passed away peacefully after courageously enduring a long-term illness. He was born on July 3, 1962, in Indianapolis, Indiana. Raised with the spirit of resilience, Cliff's life was marked by his remarkable ability to transform the ordinary into the extraordinary. He attended Clinton Prairie High School for a short time, and went on to work as a factory and construction worker, along with Over the road truck driving , lending his skills to various employers throughout his career. His hands and mind were never idle, and he found joy from working on projects, often making something out of nothing, a testament to his resourceful nature. Cliff was known for his deep affection for his feline companions, he considered his cats to be his children. Their presence brought him great comfort. Cliff is survived by his Dad: Mike Stephens of Colfax, Sisters: Angela Reef (Gordon) of Rossville, Lisa Harrison (Rick) of Frankfort, Cindy Booher (Mike) of Colfax,Brother: Mick Stephens (Sarah) of Dayton, Along with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Linda Stephens A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. During his final hours, the compassionate care provided by the dedicated team at IU North in Carmel, brought great comfort to Cliff and his family. The family extends their deepest gratitude for the excellent care. As we remember Cliff, we celebrate a life lived with ingenuity. Though he is no longer with us may his memory be a blessing to all who knew him, and may he find eternal peace in the loving embrace of Jesus and those who have gone before him.
