In Loving Memory
Mark Anthony McIntyre
May 24, 1970 — April 20, 2026
It is with profound sadness and deep gratitude for a life well-lived that we announce the passing of Mark Anthony McIntyre, who left this world peacefully on April 20, 2026, at Baptist Hospital in Pensacola, Florida. Born on May 24, 1970, in Loving, New Mexico, Mark's journey through life was as vibrant as the desert sun of his birthplace, and he touched the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
Mark was the beloved son of John McIntyre and the late Edwarda McIntyre, who instilled in him values of resilience and unconditional love. Predeceased by his cherished mother and his loyal canine companion, Skipper-Jack, Mark is survived by a family that spans generations and continents, all of whom carry his memory forward with love and gratitude.
Mark’s father, John McIntyre, his brother Chris McIntyre and sister-in-law Coleen, along with their son Gage, remember him as a devoted family man who cherished every moment spent in their company. His sister Melanie Villaran, brother-in-law Erick, and their children Caitlyn, Marissa, and Sebastian will forever hold dear the warmth of his laugh and his unwavering support. Brother Lyle McIntyre, sister-in-law Misty, and their children Sydney, Bradley, and goddaughter Reyna, along with grand-nephew Damion (DJ), will continue to celebrate his legacy of love and perseverance. Brother John, sister-in-law Jesserene, nephew Jonathan, and niece Stella join in honoring a brother whose strength and kindness knew no bounds.
Mark was also deeply connected to his extended family, including Aunt Belen and Uncle Andy, Aunt Nora, and his cousins Kenny, Nathan, and Johnny, as well as many other relatives and friends who were touched by his generous spirit.
Educated at Pine Forrest High School, Mark was a man of many talents, dedicating his life to specialized trades such as masonry, landscaping, and construction. His work ethic was unparalleled, and he was known to tackle any challenge with determination and skill. He was a proud member of Little Flower Catholic Church and the Boy Scouts of America, communities that benefited from his boundless energy and altruism.
Mark’s love for life extended beyond his family and work; he was an ardent surfer who found peace in the rhythm of the waves, a lover of beach life and music who celebrated the beauty of the world through astrology and stargazing. History fascinated him, and he engaged in intellectual conversations with a passion that inspired those around him. An avid car enthusiast, Mark also had a deep-rooted love for McGuire's Irish Pub St. Patrick's 5K, running it each year with joy and fervor.
Known for his unstoppable love for family and a heart that always chose the best intentions, Mark was as competitive as he was compassionate. Though not all his choices were perfect, his heart always was. He leaves behind a legacy of love, a testament to the power of kindness, determination, and family.
Mark Anthony McIntyre will be dearly missed, but his spirit lives on in the hearts of those he touched. His life was a gift to us all, and we are all the better for having known him. May he rest in eternal peace, reunited with those who have gone before him, and may his memory be a blessing to all who knew him.
A service to celebrate Mark’s life will be held at a later date. In honor of his memory, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice, reflecting Mark’s generous spirit and love for helping others.
