It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Mark Anthony Delarosa, who departed this life on April 20, 2026, at the age of 52, after a courageous battle with illness. Mark's journey began on August 31, 1973, in Houston, Texas, where he was born to Inez and Ester Delarosa. His life, though shorter than we would have wished, was a testament to strength, love, and endless devotion to family and friends. Mark was a proud graduate of Madison High School, class of 1992, where he laid the foundation for a life filled with laughter and kindness. He built a career as a stocker, a role that suited his meticulous nature and strong work ethic. But it was his life outside of work that truly defined Mark. A devoted fan of wrestling and 80's music, he found joy in the simple pleasures of life, from watching the Dallas Cowboys play to enjoying a good movie, or sharing jokes that always managed to bring a smile to those around him. Family was the cornerstone of Mark's life. With a big laugh and an even bigger heart, he was the embodiment of a family man. He was thoughtful, giving, and selfless; always there when someone needed him. His kindness knew no bounds, and he was known for being a strong, courageous soul who embraced his role as the family’s pillar of strength. He cherished moments spent at home, whether it was playing bingo, a competitive game of poker or Uno, or simply being surrounded by those he loved. Mark is survived by his loving mother, Ester Delarosa, and his cherished siblings: Enez Delarosa Jr., Betty Jean, and Joseph Delarosa. He also leaves behind a legacy of love in his nephews his nieces . His godchildren, held a special place in his heart. Mark was predeceased by his father, Inez Delarosa, and his sister, Norma Delarosa, who have welcomed him into eternal peace. A celebration of Mark's life will be held on April 27, 2026, at 10:30 AM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, located at 8706 Almeda. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Mark are invited to join in honoring his memory and to share in the love and warmth that he so generously gave throughout his life. In closing, the family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to all of Mark’s family and friends who offered their support during his illness. Your kindness and presence have been a source of comfort during this difficult time. Mark Anthony Delarosa will be remembered for his big smile, his laughter, and his unwavering dedication to those he loved. His spirit lives on in the hearts of all who knew him, and he will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
