An avid fisherman, Mark found solace and adventure in the gentle ebb and flow of the rivers. He often shared this passion with his family and friends, imparting his love for the outdoors to those around him. Mark is survived by a loving family who will continue to carry his legacy forward. He leaves behind his parents, Roger and Brenda, his brother Jeff, and a wife Silvia Rangel-Altermatt. He was the proud father of four daughters—Cala, Cameron, Mia, and Emma-each of whom carries a piece of his spirit and vigor for life. He also leaves behind several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who were touched by his warmth and humor. Mark was a man known for his warm heart and infectious sense of humor. He could light up a room with his presence, and his conversations were always engaging and entertaining.
