Mark A. Dubois Sr.
January 7, 1970 — February 27, 2026
In the gentle embrace of his cherished childhood home in Providence, RI, Mark A. Dubois Sr. peacefully departed this world on February 27, 2026, at the age of 56. Born on January 7, 1970, Mark was the beloved son of Beverly Ann Crowley and Marcel Armand Dubois, and a man whose life radiated warmth, humor, and an unyielding love for family and friends.
From an early age, Mark demonstrated an innate ability to bring people together, a talent he carried with him throughout his life. As a dedicated welder, he was not only skilled with his hands but also with his heart, forging lasting relationships that touched the lives of many. His colleagues remember him as a man who could always lighten the room, his laughter and wit as sharp as the tools he expertly wielded.
Mark's personal life was a tapestry of love and devotion, woven with threads of unforgettable memories and shared adventures. A father to Mark Andrew Dubois Jr., Amber Elizabeth Dubois, and Kaitlyn Ann Dubois, he was a steadfast presence in their lives, always finding ways to entertain and inspire them. Whether it was fishing at Lincoln Woods, exploring the secret spots only he knew, or embarking on trips to Storyland, the Hobo Railroad, and Six Flags New England, Mark ensured every moment was filled with joy and wonder.
His passion for the outdoors was matched only by his love for music. A devoted fan of Tim McGraw, Creed, Green Day, and other iconic bands, Mark found immense pleasure in playing and listening to rock music, often watching with delight as his grandchildren, Cristian Andrew Dubois and Alan Joseph Krause Jr. (AJ), danced along to the beat. His home was always filled with melody, laughter, and the colorful joy of crayons and stickers, as he and his grandsons bonded over drawing and creating.
Mark's interests were as diverse as they were heartfelt. He cherished fishing trips with his children, reveled in the thrill of car shows, and found a sense of freedom in his love for motorcycling. An artist at heart, he poured his creativity into building toys and furniture for his grandchildren, each piece a testament to his unwavering love and talent.
A man of strong character, Mark was protective, caring, and selfless. His stubbornness was well-known, yet it was tempered by a wholehearted generosity that extended to everyone he encountered. He was intelligent, funny, outgoing, and blunt, always ready with a quick remark or a helping hand. To know Mark was to know someone truly one of a kind.
Mark is survived by Tammy Marie Holleran, the mother of his children, who shared in the joys and challenges of raising a family. He leaves behind his beloved children, grandchildren, three siblings, and many nieces and nephews, all of whom will carry his memory forward. In their hearts, Mark's legacy of love and laughter will continue to shine brightly.
As we say goodbye to Mark, let us remember the man who lived life to its fullest, who cared deeply about everyone and everything, and who always found a way to make the world a brighter place. His spirit will forever be woven into the lives of those he loved, and his memory will be cherished by all who were fortunate enough to know him.
