She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Jim Burst, with whom she shared an extraordinary journey of love and partnership. They met in Casper, Wyoming, and were married in 1959, embarking on a life together that spanned across Wyoming, Colorado, California, and Oklahoma. Together, they raised a beautiful family, all while being active members of the Church of the Resurrection, where their faith was a guiding beacon.
A devoted mother, Marjorie is survived by her loving children: Sheri Wray, Jay Burst, Todd Burst, Kelley Singer, and Jeff Burst. Her nurturing spirit and unwavering support were constants in their lives. She also leaves behind her cherished siblings: Vern, Larry, Lorne, Ronny, Arden, and Shannon Berg, who treasured her as a sister and friend. Marjorie's legacy is further carried on by her six adoring grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, each a testament to her enduring love and wisdom.
Marjorie's career as a Manager for the Slenderama Company in Wyoming was marked by dedication and excellence. Her professional journey was paralleled by her role as a supportive partner to Jim, a Petroleum Engineer, as they navigated life's adventures together.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Marjorie was a woman of varied interests and talents. Her creativity found expression in arts and crafts, and she possessed an innate ability to transform any space with her decorating flair. Her love for dance and music was infectious, and she was a self-taught pianist who recently took joy in learning the maracas.
Known for her warm smile and the extraordinary gift of making everyone feel welcome, Marjorie's greatest passion lay in helping others. Her kindness knew no bounds, and her generosity touched countless lives. Her presence was a light that brightened the days of those fortunate enough to know her.
In her final days, the family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who traveled from Canada and other areas to visit her at her daughter Kelley's home in North Carolina. The calls and video chats provided Marjorie with comfort and joy, reinforcing the profound connections she nurtured throughout her life.
As we bid farewell to Marjorie, we celebrate a life of love, laughter, and boundless compassion. Her memory will forever remain a source of inspiration, reminding us of the power of kindness and the impact of a life lived with purpose.
