Marjorie Elizabeth Hoover
December 13, 1925 — June 9, 2026
Marjorie Elizabeth Hoover, a cherished soul and beloved matriarch, passed away peacefully at her home on June 9, 2026, at the venerable age of 100. Born in Seguin, Texas, on December 13, 1925, Marjorie lived a century filled with love, grace, and unwavering devotion to her family and community.
Marjorie was the beloved daughter of Eugene Voges and Norma Meirhoffer Hoover, who predeceased her. Throughout her life, she carried forward their legacy of kindness and resilience, which she instilled in her own family. She shared a beautiful journey with her late husband, Sam Hoover, with whom she built a life rich in love and laughter.
A nurturing and devoted mother, Marjorie was predeceased by her son, Thomas Hoover, and her daughters, Judith Hoover Heindl and Sharon Hoover Pursch. Her unwavering strength and love shone brightly in the lives of those she touched, particularly in her surviving son, Billy J. Hoover, who carries forward her spirit and values.
Marjorie’s legacy extends to her grandchildren, and great grandchildren, and her memory will continue to illuminate their paths.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Guadalupe Hospice and to Anita, (private nurse). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice in Marjorie’s name.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
