Marjorie slipped away gently in her sleep, embraced by the comfort of her home in Port Huron, Michigan, after courageously battling an illness. Born on November 29, 1939, in the serene town of Port Huron, Marjorie was the treasured daughter of Janet and Bob Mcleod. She carried the legacy of her parents with grace and dignity throughout her life, embodying the values of love, compassion, and resilience that they instilled in her. Marjorie's life was a testament to the power of love and commitment. For 68 remarkable years, she shared an unbreakable bond with her beloved husband, Darwin Mcleod. Together, they built a life filled with rich memories, unwavering support, and a deep, abiding love that served as an inspiration to all who knew them. Marjorie was a nurturing presence, a guiding light for her family. Her gentle spirit and boundless generosity touched the lives of her 14 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, each of whom she adored and cherished with all her heart. Her legacy lives on in their laughter, their dreams, and the warmth of their family gatherings. Predeceased by her dear parents, Janet and Bob, as well as her siblings, Kathy, Bob, Frank, Mary, and Aida, Marjorie now joins them in eternal peace. Her departure leaves an immense void, yet her spirit continues to illuminate the lives of those who remain. Marjorie’s life was a beautiful melody, a harmonious blend of family, friendship, and faith. Her kindness knew no bounds, and her door was always open, offering a warm embrace and a listening ear. Her laughter was infectious, her wisdom profound, and her love unconditional. In honoring Marjorie's wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held, allowing her family the opportunity to say their farewells in an intimate setting, surrounded by the love and memories that she so deeply cherished. As we bid farewell to this remarkable woman, we carry forward her legacy of love, kindness, and strength. Marjorie Mcleod's life was a tapestry woven with threads of joy, compassion, and unwavering devotion. She will be dearly missed, but never forgotten.
