August 16, 1956 — July 9, 2026

Marion O'Brien, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully at her home in the comforting presence of her family on July 9, 2026. Born on August 16, 1956, in The Bronx, New York, Marion lived a life full of love, creativity, and dedication to her family and community. She moved to South Amboy, New Jersey where she resided and raised her family over the next 40 years before retiring in Delaware. Marion was the cherished daughter of the late William and Eliza Campbell, who instilled in her a strong sense of family values and compassion for others. She was predeceased by her parents, her mother-in-law Nora O'Brien, her brother-in-law Richie O'Donnell, her sisters-in-law Cathy O'Brien and Caroline Campbell, and her infant son Kevin OBrien, whom she carried forever in her heart. A devoted wife, Marion shared 46 years of marriage with her loving husband, Timothy O'Brien. Together, they built a home filled with joy, laughter, and warmth. Marion’s legacy lives on through her children: her daughter Jennifer O'Brien and her spouse Joshua Sing, Steven O'Brien and James O'Brien and his wife Laura. Her granddaughters, Scarlett and Alana Sing, were the light of her life, bringing her endless joy and pride. Marion was a beloved sister to Janet Tucker, Margaret Daddario, Billy Campbell, and Robert Campbell. Her siblings remember her as a source of strength and a beacon of kindness, always ready with a smile and a helping hand. Known for her creative spirit, Marion found joy in camping adventures with her family and crafting beautiful ceramic pieces and intricate cross-stitch projects. Her artistic talents brought beauty into the lives of those around her and her creations will be cherished as treasured keepsakes by all who knew her. Marion’s warmth and kindness extended beyond her family, touching the lives of many in her community. Her generous spirit and loving nature will be remembered by all who had the privilege to know her. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice, in memory of Marion’s generous heart and her lifelong dedication to helping others. Marion wished to have a Celabration of Life with details to follow. As we gather to celebrate Marion’s life, we hold dear the memories of her gentle spirit, her unwavering love, and the remarkable legacy she leaves behind. She will be profoundly missed but never forgotten, as she lives on in the hearts of her family and friends.
