However, Marilyn's true calling emerged when she decided to pursue her passion for helping others, returning to school to earn a Master’s degree in Social Work from Howard University in 2013. This achievement marked the beginning of a new chapter in her life as a social worker, where she touched countless lives with her compassion and unwavering commitment to those in need. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Marilyn was a woman of many talents and interests. She found immense joy in sewing, creating beautiful garments and quilts that were cherished by family and friends. Her love for gardening was equally profound, and she took great pride in nurturing her garden, which blossomed under her attentive care, much like the individuals she supported throughout her life. Marilyn's home was always a place of warmth and welcome, filled with the laughter and love of those she held dear.
