It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved daughter, sister, niece and granddaughter, Marijana Radjenovic, who left this world far too soon on July 1, 2026. Born on December 16, 2016, in Marietta, Georgia, Marijana was a beacon of light and joy during her brief but impactful nine years with us.
Marijana was an exceptional young girl who embraced life with an eagerness and enthusiasm that inspired everyone around her. She was set to enter the 4th grade this year, a milestone she was eagerly anticipating. Her love for learning and her insatiable curiosity were evident in her dream of becoming an educator. Marijana delighted in the world of books and the knowledge they contained, often losing herself in stories and facts way beyond her years.
Though her time with us was short, Marijana was a passionate and vibrant spirit with a wide array of interests. She spent two years playing softball, an experience that, while not her ultimate passion, led to dreams of cheering or even taking up basketball. Her admiration for the WNBA and the way women "ruled the court and world" was a source of endless inspiration for her.
Marijana was truly an artist at heart, finding joy in painting and expressing herself through her creativity. A lover of costumes, she often dressed up, not waiting for holidays to express her imaginative spirit. Her happiest moments, however, were spent with her baby brother and best friend, Massiah. Together, they shared countless adventures, from visits to the park to exciting trips to the arcade.
Known for her contagious energy and radiant personality, Marijana had an innate ability to uplift the spirits of those around her. Her kindness extended to young and old alike, always emphasizing the importance of respecting our elders. Her love for old-school music and her inquisitive nature about the instruments behind the beats were just a glimpse of her old soul in a young body.
A sweet soul with a heart full of love, Marijana was always ready to lend a helping hand, whether to her beloved BaBa, her friends, neighbors, or even strangers. Her life taught us the importance of loving one another and embracing our differences.
Marijana's life will be celebrated on July 11, 2026, at 10:00 AM at 2480 Macland Rd, Marietta, GA 30064, United States. Her family extends their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who enriched Marijana's life and supported them during this difficult time. The outpouring of love, prayers, and comfort has been a source of strength and grace for the Radjenovic/Matic family.
Though Marijana's time with us was brief, her impact was extraordinary. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and kindness that will forever be cherished by all who were fortunate enough to know her. May her beautiful soul rest in peace, and may her memory be a blessing to us all.
