September 12, 1941 — October 11, 2026

Marie Précieuse Constant Jean, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, left this world unexpectedly on October 11, 2026. Born on September 12, 1941, in Cayes, Haiti, Marie was a beacon of love and strength to all who knew her. She was the cherished daughter of Precious Constant and was predeceased by her husband, Marcel Jean, and her siblings, Marc Pierre Constant and Marie Constant. Marie was a devoted mother to her sons, Patrick and Mario Jean, and her daughters, Marie Rose Andre Constant and Alexandra Jean. Her family extended to her siblings, grandchildren—Isaiah, Louisena, Gepsen, Nadege, Calos, Gaitant, and Naifka—and great-grandchildren, Rose Patricia, Samuela, and Densky Wood Mayer. Her loving spirit was also shared with extended family members, including Jeimy Estessie Desir, Marie Aby Desir, and Lunis Bernie. After completing her elementary education in Haiti, Marie found her calling as a talented chef cook. Her love for cooking was more than just a profession; it was a passion that brought joy to her family and friends. Marie was a devoted Catholic and an active member of her community in Haiti. After moving to Boston in 2024, she embraced a new chapter in her spiritual journey by accepting Jesus Christ as her personal savior and becoming a cherished member of the "Backup Prayer without Border." Marie’s life was marked by her love for people and her unwavering dedication to her family. Her warmth and kindness were evident in her hobbies, which included cooking, sewing, and missionary work. She was passionate about helping others and found joy in being a source of comfort and support to those around her. A service to honor Marie's life will be held on October 24, 2026, at 9:00 AM at FUNERARIAS MULTI CULTUREL, located at 238 Court Street, Brockton, MA 02302.
