Born on November 27, 1934, in the picturesque town of Mola di Bari, Italy, Marie was the treasured daughter of Grazia and Giovanni Sette. Her life was a beautiful tapestry woven with love, resilience, and an unwavering dedication to her family and passions.
In 1957, Marie embarked on a new chapter when she married the love of her life, Paul Bellantuono, on a crisp December day in Brooklyn. Their union, a testament to enduring love, spanned 42 years until Paul's passing. Together, they created a home filled with laughter and warmth, raising two wonderful daughters, Rose and Grace, who were the light of Marie's life.
Marie was a woman of varied interests, each pursued with the same gentle enthusiasm and dedication she brought to every aspect of her life. Her garden was a vibrant reflection of her nurturing spirit, a place where she found peace and joy, coaxing life from the soil with tender care. Traveling was another of Marie's passions, and she delighted in discovering the world's wonders, each journey enriching her with new stories and experiences. An avid reader, Marie found solace and inspiration in the pages of countless books, and she shared this love of literature.
