Marie was surrounded by her loving family in her final moments, leaving this world as gracefully as she lived her life. Born on May 24, 1970, in St. Louis, Missouri, Marie was a beacon of kindness and joy to all who knew her. Marie was the cherished daughter of the late James and Mae Simmons, who instilled in her the values of compassion and resilience that she carried throughout her life. She is predeceased by her parents, whom she missed dearly and has now joined in eternal rest. A dedicated employee of General Motors, Marie devoted two decades of her career to the company, where she was not only respected for her hard work but also adored for her ability to bring laughter and joy to her colleagues. Her presence was a constant reminder of the power of a smile, and her laughter was infectious, brightening even the darkest of days. Marie was a devoted mother to her son, Tony Allbright, who was the light of her life. Her unwavering support and love for him were evident in every aspect of her life. She is also survived by her sister, Rachel Johnson, and her brother, James Simmons, both of whom she held dear. Her family was her pride and joy, and she cherished every moment spent with them. In addition to her career and family, Marie was an active member of her church community, finding solace and strength in her faith. Her dedication to her church was unwavering, and she remained an active participant until her passing. Marie had a passion for sewing, a hobby that allowed her to express her creativity and love for others through her beautiful creations. Marie's warmth, humor, and kindness will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her ability to make others laugh and smile was a gift that touched many lives, leaving behind a legacy of joy and love. A service to honor and celebrate Marie's life will be held on December 14, 2025, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, located at 308 S Parker Ave, Bryan, TX 77803. The service will begin at 11:30 a.m. All who knew and loved Marie are welcome to attend and pay their respects. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff who provided exceptional care to Marie in her final days. Your kindness and compassion brought comfort to Marie and her family during a difficult time. Marie Allbright will be remembered not only for the love she gave but for the laughter she inspired. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of those she touched. May she rest in peace, enveloped in the love of her family and the grace of God.
