Mariano's life was a tapestry woven with the threads of his passions and the warmth of his character. A devoted enthusiast of boxing, he found in the sport a profound source of joy and inspiration. To Mariano, boxing was much more than a hobby; it was a reflection of life's challenges and triumphs. His admiration for the discipline, resilience, and heart that boxing embodies was mirrored in his own life. Whether he was discussing the finer points of a match, sharing stories about legendary pugilists, or simply watching a bout with family and friends, Mariano's enthusiasm was infectious.
Beyond his love for boxing, Mariano will be fondly remembered for his boundless kindness and unwavering loyalty. His ability to bring people together was a gift that enriched the lives of those around him. Mariano possessed a strong spirit and a warm heart, qualities that made others feel supported and valued. He had the rare ability to create a sense of belonging, and his presence was a source of comfort and strength.
In accordance with his wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held to honor Mariano's life. During this intimate gathering, the 23rd Psalm will be recited, a testament to his steadfast faith and the solace he found in these sacred words:
"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever."
The family of Mariano extends their heartfelt gratitude to all who have offered their kindness, prayers, and support during this difficult time.
